Apprentice Machinist
Jacob Meredith
It is my job to analyse data off drawings to set, load and programme CNC lathes to manufacture the parts required, while being supervised by experienced engineers. This is an advantage for apprentices like me as they are good mentors, helping me to learn while on the job. Every machine I set and part I manufacture improves my skill base, knowledge and confidence moving into the future. I enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new sectors of my job every day.
