After leaving the Royal Engineers as a welder I spent 15yrs on the shopfloor. Eventually making the move into Health & Safety after an opportunity with an employer. Starting on the shopfloor gave me the skills to better understand the way things work, making it easier to relate and interact with the workforce. From Operative to Director. Now responsible for ensuring the safe management of works and employees at Makefast and that staff members leave work healthy each day.
