Therapeutic Radiographer
Jayne Matthews
As a Therapeutic Radiographer, my role is to ensure the accurate radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients. I use complex technology that produces high energy x-rays which precisely targets the treatment area. I work closely with a range of key roles such as dosimetrists, physicists, and oncologists to provide a high level of patient-centred care. The most rewarding aspect of my job is getting to know my patients so well and being able to use my love of science.
