As the department manager I oversee all the design and engineering. Currently I have seven design engineers using SolidWorks in the department; the two mains parts of my role is, one to manage all customer design projects, where we customized our existing products to suit the client’s requirements. The other, is to oversee the design and development of new products, such as safety buckles, sunroofs or awnings and all the tooling required to manufacture these products.
