Learning and Development Manager
Emma’s role is exactly what it says. In essence she looks after the training budget and the development of the staff. For solicitors she ensures they complete the “Continuing Competence” each year and for other staff she enables learning opportunities. She recruits and supports the apprentices. Emma also maintains the book/subscription database and the yearly memberships of various professional organisations eg APIL. Emma also delivers some internal training as required.
